I love taking photos and I love organizing them and creatively putting them together in albums and scrapbooks. I usually don't make time to do the putting together part. I've started Project Life two different years and never finished up. Only one time have I ever started one of the documenting projects and actually finished it up. In 2011 I participated in Ali Edwards' Week in the Life project. I'm not sure what it was about that time that made me follow through, but I am so happy I did. I LOVE my album from that week. You can see the final album here and see all of the weekly posts, including how I put the album together, here.
This week Ali is doing A Day In The Life on Thursday, June 27th. When I saw her post today inviting everyone to join in I didn't hesitate in deciding I was going to participate. I already have a pretty exciting event happening on Thursday, which will be perfect. On Thursday I will be officially certified as an Aircraft Commander. I will no longer be "just a co-pilot"... I'm moving up in the world!
A while ago I downloaded the app Days, which is a super simple photo taking app that creates a visual diary of your day. It also allows you to make animated GIFs.
If you'd like to join in on the fun head over to Ali's blog and check out all the downloads, videos, templates, and inspiration she has from her previous projects.
