Kerry sent me photos of this fold over clutch forever ago. I can't believe I forgot to post them. I love the colors she used in this, especially the inside.
Here are some pics of a fold over clutch I made last night. My mom had found a tutorial on making one but I just sewed one free hand with out a tutorial. I had gotten a dress from Goodwill made of cotton and flax that was a lovely brown grey color and then some scraps of camel colored leather from Hobby Lobby. This was my first time sewing with leather and it is actually way easier than I thought. I did use leather needles and it went through like butter. I also used the slip lining zipper tutorial from Sew, Mama, Sew! to sew in a side pocket inside the lining. It turned out great and I think I'll have to make some more. --Kerry

I'm dying over that turquoise lining. It looks so luxurious. Kerry you are a sewing machine!!! We soooo need a week of just crafting and sewing and baking.. yeah... let's throw some baking in there too :)
